in September 2023 Amanda Squire and I made a ferry journey to North Spain from where we continued for 4000 miles in our trusty van Myfanwy, exploring the Montado of Portugal in Alentejo Province and the Dehesa of Spain in Extremadura Province. These are the Cork Oak and Holm Oak savannas famed for their wildlife and wild arid landscapes. We managed to produce 27 paintings which are on sale as originals or prints and we compiled these with a host of photographs by Amanda into a sketchbook journey which is available as an interactive PDF e-book now and will become available in printable / print form early 2024.
