Portillo De Busto, first light

Description

On our way back to the ferry we thought we did not have enough time to do justice to Galicia and seeing as Mandy had not seen the Picos del Europa we decided to do these mountains properly in our last few days.  We started in an area south of Bilbao where we visited some spectacular cascada through mountain villages and we worked our way Westwards through fantastic mountain ranges and parks to the Picos.

This is the first sun coming around the mountain to catch the tops of the oak trees as they lean out at all angles from the round rocky hillock and the glowing hillsides beyond.  Plough-lines adding to the movement of the sweeping lands.
