Mirador Portillo De Busto

On our way back to the ferry we thought we did not have enough time to do justice to Galicia and seeing as Mandy had not seen the Picos del Europa we decided to do these mountains properly in our last few days.  We started in an area south of Bilbao where we visited some spectacular cascada through mountain villages and we worked our way Westwards through fantastic mountain ranges and parks to the Picos.  This was the early morning view from our campsite perched up high on a lookout or mirador overlooking the village and valley of Portillo de Busto, looking towards Bilbao.  We had a fabulous view of a Hobby as it flew past at dusk with prey probably a dragonfly.  It was almost eagle country but we didnt see any here yet.
